MS Fit Group Exercise Classes

Move with MS

It has been shown that exercise can actually reduce levels of fatigue in people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). In our group fitness classes we combine cardiovascular exercise with resistance training, core specific exercises, balance, and stretching to specifically target common problem areas for people with MS. Participants can expect:

  • A supportive group atmosphere

  • Alternating upper and lower body focus each week

    • All classes will incorporate core strengthening, balance and stretching

  • Classes are appropriate for all mobility levels

    • Seated in a chair

    • Standing

    • On the floor

    • Different equipment based on ability (bands, weights, ankle weights)

  • Classes to last 45-60 minutes

  • Virtual option available!

    All classes will be held at Movement Matters Physical Therapy.

    Classes will be offered:

    Tuesdays and Fridays at 1:00 pm

    We will rotate upper and lower body focus each week

  • What to bring

    Yourself and some cold water!

    Optional: towel, cooling device, yoga mat
